In 2006 Yuhuan achieved GDP of 18.019 billion Yuan, 18.2% above that of last year; and total financial revenue of 2.398 billion Yuan including local financial revenue of 1.039 billion Yuan, separately 33.1% and 38.6% beyond those of last year. Its gross social investment in fixed assets totaled 9.127 billion Yuan, 26.1% exceeding that of last year. Its total retail amount of its social consumables came to 4.316 billion Yuan, 16.1% above that of last year. Its townspeople per-capita disposable income amounted to 24.021 thousand Yuan and its farmer per-capita net income 9.261 thousand Yuan, separately 8.1% and 7.4% above those of last year. Of years, Yuhuan has ranked one of the “Top 100 Counties of China in Comprehensive Strength” successively for 8 times. Yuhuan still took up the 33rd position of the country in the comprehensive development level of social economy in 2005.
